Nik Fraitzl

Director

Nik Fraitzl-Howe is a Director at North Point Associates, where he leads open-source research that helps clients make better-informed decisions about partnerships and personnel, win elections, and avoid reputational risk. 

Alongside client work, Nik serves on North Point’s Product Development team, deploying new IT tools with his operations colleagues and overseeing the firm’s adoption of AI. In day-to-day research, he is drawn most to founder-led companies, where understanding the business requires understanding the people behind it. He also enjoys forensic referencing: candid conversations with off-list references and former colleagues that reveal a company’s culture and its employees’ sentiment.



Before joining North Point in 2022, he interned at the Office of Naval Intelligence, developing open-source collection methods for adversary asset tracking from Mandarin-language sources. He holds a B.A. in Intelligence Studies from Mercyhurst University and is pursuing the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth Boston chapter. 

Nik and his husband live in Boston with their dog and cat. He spends his free time in the city’s restaurants, planning his next trip, and hunting for mid-century furniture, though no chair enters the house without a background check.
